Pastor Van McCall envisioned the Church as a place much like the Mountains in the Bible. Mountains in the Bible were places elevated above the sea level that were where God visited, gave His Word, where the fire fell and a place where men could come to have their lives changed by the presence of God. Pastor Van combined his spiritual passion and ministry experience with his 36 year Management experience to develop a Strategic Plan for ministry employing the Mission Statement to accomplish the Church Vision (both below).

After evangelizing for 33 years, Pastor Van and Angie became the Pastors of MCOG Church on January 1st, 2018 and launched the church slogan “Come to The Mountain.” Our church vision is to grow MCOG to a sustained Sunday Worship attendance of 150, from which Salvation commitments are made, Leaders are developed, and a Lifestyle of positive Christian Character is realized in the congregation.
